She was predeceased by: her husband Eugene T. Batts; and her parents, Leonard Washington Carter and Mattie Pye Carter. She is survived by: her children, Christopher Batts (Samantha) and Cecilia B. Archambault (Dennis); her grandchildren, Emily, Ethan, Ayla and Tyndall; her great grandchildren, Blythe and Greyson; and her sisters, Shirley Smith and Jeanette Nord.
