We announce the death of Debi Walling (Walterboro, South Carolina), who passed away on August 26, 2026, at the age of 74. Debi will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, John DuBose and Ann Thomson DuBose. She is survived by: her husband Timothy A. "Tim" Walling; her son Michael Hawkins (Amy); her grandchildren, Annaliese Louise Haithcock (Christian) and Dillon Hawkins; her mother-in-law Carol Benton Walling; her siblings-in-law, Phyllis W. Bridge, Charles "Chuck" Walling (Sandy) and Mark Walling (Robin); her close friend Mary Jordan; and her sisters, Elizabeth "Liz" Perlman (Jerry), Cindy Stivender (Bill) and Janis Headden (Alroy).
Visitation was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Parker-Rhoden Funeral Home (117 Paul St, Walterboro, SC 29488). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. An entombment was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at the Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
