With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Deborah Garvin Murdaugh of Walterboro, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 10, 2026 at the age of 75. She was predeceased by: her husband Edward Carroll Murdaugh, Jr.; her parents, Harmon H. Garvin and Jaine Hiott Garvin; and her grandson Noah Murdaugh. She is survived by: her children, Douglas Murdaugh (Melinda) of Monticello, Shannon Murdaugh (Lora) of Springfield and Ryan Murdaugh (Sharon) of Walterboro; her sister Judith Garrett of Senecca; and her grandchildren, Autumn Murdaugh, Racheal Mobley, Carter Murdaugh, Waylon Murdaugh, Merick Murdaugh, Ethan Murdaugh and Jesse Murdaugh. She is also survived by two great grandchildren.
