She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Elliott Savage Jr. and Irma Sasser Savage. She is survived by: her husband Marion B. Glover of Atlanta, Georgia; her brother H. Elliott Savage III; her sisters-in-law, Shelley Savage of Mount Pleasant and Juanita Eason of Portsmouth, Virginia.; and her nephews, H. Elliott Savage IV (Lauren Savage) of Austin, Texas, R. Scott Savage (Lindsay Savage) of Atlanta, Georgia, Stephen Eason (Linda Eason) of Chesapeake, Virginia, William Eason (Maria Eason) of Portsmouth, Virginia and Robert Eason (Rhonda Eason) of Camden.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Agnes Scott College, Columbia Theological Seminary, or to a charity of your choice.

“My wife, Pam, and I were very saddened to learn of Gail's passing. Gail and Marion were wonderful mentors to us in several different volunteer endeavors at Peachtree Presbyterian Church. During the 1990s, when our daughter Susie was 10 years old, I took Susie with me to work as part of a "Take Your Daughter to Work" program. We visited with Gail and Marion at their office, and Gail and Marion were kind enough to give Susie Coca Cola mementos to commemorate our visit.”
