He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Heape and Emmogene Stenstrom; and his significant other Martha. He is survived by: his children, Alicia Heape Rouse (Alan) and Edward Heape (Melissa); his grandchildren, Karley Rouse, Hanna Heape, Savannah Heape, Gunner Rouse and Austin Heape; and his pet Sugar Babe.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Homes and Crematory, Walterboro Chapel (1193 Bells Hwy, Walterboro, SC 29488). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
