We announce the death of Harold Steen of Walterboro, South Carolina, who passed away on September 14, 2026, at the age of 82. Harold will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roland F. Steen and Catherine Lucille Steen (Locklair); and his former wife Mary C. Steen. He is survived by: his significant other Susan T. Cox (Kathy); his children, Ronald L. Steen (Sheri), George P. Steen (Fawn) and Charlene Patricia Holingsworth (Bill); and his siblings, Fred Steen (JoAnn), John Steen (Jennie), Linda Wood (Sam), Nancy Wall (Buddy) and Kathryn Weiner (Sy). He is also survived by his many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Carolina Funeral Home (7113 Rivers Ave, North Charleston, SC 29406). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
