Chestnut of Johns Island; the mother of his children Velma Dew Martin; his grandchildren, Jessica Craven, Andrew Chestnut and Nicole Chestnut; his great grandchildren, Savannah Rose Tucker, Jackson Craven, Bentley Craven and Reagan Craven; and his sisters, Dotty Jeffcoat and Susan Austin.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Homes and Crematory, Walterboro Chapel (1193 Bells Hwy, Walterboro, SC 29488). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
