She is survived by: her husband William Jeff O'Quinn; her son David Simmons (Sandra); her grandchildren, Jordan (Shelby), Jess, Sara, Sydney and Ethan; and her brothers, Derrick "Decky" Avant (Amy), Ronald "Ronnie" Avant (Mamie Dell), Dennis Avant (Betsy) and James "Buckshot" Avant (Sharon).
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Parker-Rhoden Funeral Home (117 Paul St, Walterboro, SC 29488). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Doctor's Creek Baptist Church (126 Doctors Creek Rd, Walterboro, SC 29488).
