He is survived by: his wife Margaret Ann Swain Cooke; his siblings, Carlisle Cooke (Gloria) of Orangeburg, SC, Laymon Cooke (Fran) of Barnwell, SC and Faye C. Wooten (Allen) of Hardeeville, SC; and his siblings-in-law, Judy Cooke of Columbia, SC, Linda S. Herndon of Varnville, SC and Bruce D. "Danny" Swain of Varnville, SC..
Visitation was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Sandy Run Baptist Church (2100 Sandy Run Rd, Hampton, SC 29924). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
