He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles LaRose and Cecelia Elizabeth Folley LaRose; his wife Judy Burns; his son Brian LaRose; and his siblings, Daniel LaRose, Chuck LaRose, Nick LaRose and Shirley Hertle.
He is survived by: his children, Thomas Richard LaRose and Leanne Tingley (DelRoy) of Islandton; his siblings, Charlotte Woods of New York and Randy LaRose of Florida; his grandchildren, Zachary Bottiger, Adam LaRose, Jake LaRose, Creighton LaRose, Cecilia LaRose, Medora LaRose, Seth Tingley and Caleb Tingley; and his great grandchildren, Pearson Bottiger, Colton Bottiger, Sullivan Bottiger, Orley LaRose, Birch LaRose and Seth Tingley.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Bram Funeral Home (206 E South Hills Dr #104, Maryville, MO 64468).
In lieu of flowers on-line donations may be made to one or both of his favorite charities, the Nodaway County Senior Center (https://nodawayseniors.com) or The Kansas City Rescue Mission (https://shelterkc.org), in memory of Leland LaRose.
