She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Alzo Pearce and Marie Blocker Pearce. She is survived by: her husband Johnny E. Ritter; her son Todd Heustess of California; her siblings, Cathy Tisdale (Jimmy) of Manning, Robert E. "Bob" Pearce (Barbara) of Jacksonboro and David Michael Pearce (Sabrina) of Walterboro; and her siblings-in-law, Brenda Ritter McCants (Jim) of Ritter, Brenda Ritter McMillan (H. M.) of Walterboro and Deaka Fennell of Ritter. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be directed in her memory to the following: Friends of Colleton County Animal Shelter, 33 Poor Farm Road, Walterboro, South Carolina 29488; or to, Ebenezer United Methodist Church, care of Bonnie Ritter Ramsey, 169 Saratoga Lane, Walterboro, South Carolina 29488.
