She was predeceased by: her parents, Aaron Coleman "Moss" Rentz and Alma Louvenia Belger Rentz; her children, Steve Herbert Carroll, Kenneth Aaron "Kenny" Carroll and Shirley Dianne Carroll; and her siblings, Ruth Risher, Ida Mae Sheppard, Lib Ferguson, Crystal Rentz and Marion Rentz.
She is survived by: her children, James Howard "Jimmy" Carroll, Jr. (Mary) of Wilmington and Gayle Carroll Bishop of Walterboro; her grandchildren, Lisa Osborne, Jamie Carroll, Gayle Revis, Stevie Carroll, Jessica Steele, Cindi Bishop and Ryan Bishop; her great grandchildren, Rees, Cade, Drew, Audrey, Dalen, Ellan, Ethan, Sadie, Gracie, Braydon, Blake, Tinley and Cullen; her great great grandchild Mabel; and her sister Peggy Ferguson of California. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
