Lydia Fisk Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lydia Fisk of Walterboro, South Carolina, born in Ruffin, South Carolina, who passed away on December 20, 2023 at the age of 102. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Josiah Edward Bryan and Ellen Elizabeth Preacher Bryan; her husbands, English Woodrow Strickland Sr. and Clevie Fisk; her sons, English Woodrow Strickland Jr., James Robert "Bobby" Strickland and Josiah Perry Strickland; her son-in-law Mitchell H. Bryan; and her brother James Joseph "Joe" Bryan.
She is survived by : her daughter Mary Ellen Strickland Bryan; her granddaughters, Kathy Polk (Russell), Louise Groover (Jimmy), Michelle Apt (Kevin), Pam Murdaugh and Kelli Richardson (King); her daughter-in-law Cecilia Strickland; and her friend Hannah Herndon.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the church social hall, and in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the church.
