It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mamie Dell Avant of Walterboro, South Carolina, who passed away on June 22, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Pye and Mamie Crosby Pye; and her former husband Clarence Bowers. She is survived by: her husband Ronald Lee Avant; her children, Chris Bowers, Heath Bowers (Windy), Matt Avant (Heather) and Marshall Avant (Micki); her grandchildren, Tyler, Blake, Ainsley, Abby, Landon, Noah, Luke and Gracie; and her friend Cathy Hutchinson. She is also survived by great grandchildren.
