With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marilyn Bazzle of Walterboro, South Carolina, who passed away on June 9, 2025 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Marilyn departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Marilyn. Though Marilyn may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Alvin Canaday and Frances Lee Langdale Canaday. She is survived by: her spouse Lonnie E. Bazzle; and her brother Ernest Canaday of Walterboro. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, in-laws, extended family and countless friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Parker-Rhoden Funeral Home (117 Paul St, Walterboro, SC 29488). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery (7345 Jefferies Hwy, Walterboro, SC 29488).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her memory to either "Toys for Tots", or to the American Cancer Society.
