She was predeceased by: her parents, Clayton Hope and Grace Binnarr Hope; and her brother Charles Edward Hope. She is survived by: her husband Charles G. Ackerman, Sr.; her son Charles G. Ackerman, Jr. of Walterboro; her sisters, Doreen Meree Forna (Cliff) and Darlene Meree Hoff (Charlie); her sister-in-law Rhonda Bazzle (James) of Walterboro; and her nieces and nephews, Karen Nix, George Benton, Eugene Benton, Wesley Davis, Joey Davis, Krystle Gregory, James Bazzle, Jr. and Kevin Bazzle.
