He is survived by: his wife Tina Ann Metzger Bessent of Walterboro; his children, Tiffany Crane, Cassie Stone, Angelique Daubenspeck, Ralph Donald "Donnie" Bessent, Jr., Stormy Doe, Jason Bessent, Brett Hartley, Ashlee Harris and Mariah Bessent; and his sisters, Tammy Simmons, Michelee Bessent, Annabell Bessent and Lola Brown. He is also survived by 40 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren.
