He is survived by: his wife Sherry; his son Richard Brian Cawley (Allison); and his grandsons, Alex and Bryce. He is also survived by his four nephews and one niece, along with his immediate family and many friends.
A funeral service was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Live Oak Cemetery (15-186 De Treville St, Walterboro, SC 29488). A reception was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
