He is survived by: his wife Elberta Elizabeth Davis Hand; his children, Tina Dail (Arby) of Walterboro, Carl Hand of Walterboro, Bruce Hand of Walterboro and Pamela Langdale of Walterboro; and his brother George Christersen of New York. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
