We bid farewell to Sara Avant of Walterboro, South Carolina, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 12, 2025 at the age of 74. Sara touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie O'Hara Gantt and Linwood Gantt; her stepparents, James Marion Hutto, Jr. and Myra Gantt; and her stepdaughter Monica Dene Avant Luckie.
She is survived by: her husband Ted Avant; her stepdaughter Lisa Blake Avant; her grandsons, K. Garris Luckie and W. Fuller Luckie; and her brother Lin Gantt.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Walterboro.
