We bid farewell to Sara Koger (Walterboro, South Carolina), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 27, 2026 at the age of 98. Sara touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Albert Thomas and Eula Fudge Thomas; her husband William Randolph Koger; her son Michael T. Koger; her siblings, Genelene Thomas, Dorothy Thomas Bishop and Alton Thomas; and her siblings-in-law, Mildred Holliday and Ray Holliday.

She is survived by: her sons, William R. Koger, Jr. (Caroline) of Hampton and John A. Koger of Round; her daughter-in-law Teresa Koger Westbury (Daniel) of Round; her grandchildren, Sarah Padget (Ben) of Hampton, Kelly Miner (Corey) of Midway, Georgia, Rebecca Swofford (Tucker) of Hampton and Andrew Koger (Ashley) of Round; her great grandchildren, Harley Miner, Charles Padget, Thomas Padget, Colton Miner, Oliver Swofford, Ella Koger and Emma Swofford; her siblings, Wallace Thomas of Olanta and Eleanor McGuinn of Greensboro; and her brother-in-law Dr. Asa Orin Bishop of Knoxville, Tennessee. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
