She was predeceased by: her husband Tillman Evans; and her parents, John Leo Wells and Hettie Carr Wells. She is survived by: her sons, Kevin Evans (Tammy) of Walterboro, Brian Evans of Walterboro and Gary Evans (Melissa) of Walterboro; her grandchildren, Nicole Burroughs (Jonathan), Shannon Pruitt (Cody), Amanda Call (Dustin) and Abby Evans; her great grandchildren, Jackson, Norah, Josie, Madelyn and Ellie; her sister Ellen Wells Chambers of Sevierville; her niece Angie Barnhart (Jon); and her great-nephews, Daniel and Nathan.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be directed in her memory to: Ronald McDonald House, 81 Gadsden Street, Charleston, South Carolina 29401.
