She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Richard Clayton and Opal Junita Sutton; her husband Stanley Eugene Cressey; her daughter Markita Corbitt; her brothers, Richard Clayton and Ronald Clayton; and her granddaughter Gracie Lydia Ann Thurman.
She is survived by: her daughters, Melinda Wynn (Ashley), Melanie Anderson (Brian), Katie Kirby (Bruce) and Samantha Thurman. She is also survived by her 17 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and several special nieces and nephews.
