He is survived by: his wife Joyce Shaffer (Harrell); his children, Andrew Shaffer and Lauren Shaffer Reinhart (Chris Reinhardt); his grandchildren, Savannah, Allison Reinhardt, Bryce and Ford McKinney; his sister Jane Shaffer Lee (Rex Lee); his nephew Ben Lee; his sister-in-law Barbara Fairchild-Newman; and his sibling's children, Joe Fairchild and Pamela Clark (Cody Clark).
