He is survived by: his wife Joyce Fay Hickman Mead; his children, James Robert Banks, Jr. (Elise), Cindy Virden (Brad), Crystal Carraway (Mitchell Evans) and Angel Carraway; his grandchildren, Conner Garrick, Dylan Banks (Haley), Christopher Banks (Taylor), Faith Bishop, Ayden Banks, Taylor Virden Marin (Andres), Aaron Virden, Emily Evans and Tyler Evans; his great grandchildren, Gabriel Banks and Cason Banks; his siblings, Harold Mead, Sr., Ernest Mead, Arthur Mead, Belinda Nolte and Pattie Pollock; and his stepsiblings, Russell Brockman, Judy Gilmore and Jeannie Anderson.
