Yvonne Crosby Bird Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 30, 2025, at the age of 97, Yvonne Crosby Bird of Walterboro, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Edwin Crosby and Verna Ulmer Crosby; and her husband Harry Clyde Bird Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Thomas D., Francis H. Carter of Walterboro, Julie S., Dennis Somers of Bedford, Virginia, Patricia B., Robert Durham of Vienna, Illinois, Daniel C., Maryann S. Bird of Walterboro, Harry J. and Rhonda S. Bird of Prosperity. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and their spouses, 10 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren along with numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Beaufort National Cemetery (1601 Boundary St, Beaufort, SC 29902).
