He was predeceased by: his father Gerald W. Dawkins; and his siblings, Kimbrel Dawkins and Gwen Dawkins. He is survived by: his mother Ruby Kunkle Dawkins; his wife Joyce Bodie Dawkins; his children, Jeannie Dawkins Bock (Robert), Brian Ashley Dawkins (Gaby) and Amanda Dawkins Wenning (Garrett); his grandchildren, Timothy W. Storey (Ayisha), Connie S. Freeman and Hailey E. Wenning; his great grandchildren, Melani E. Freeman, Alec-Zander D. Freeman and Timothy C. Storey; and his brother Douglas Dawkins. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Clydes Chapel Southern Methodist (2001 Spann Rd, Batesburg-Leesville, SC 29006). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
