Carolyn Godfrey Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carolyn Godfrey of Ware Shoals, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 14, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Carolyn shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Carolyn farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her husband Walter Ansel Godfrey; her parents, Walter Leonard and Faye Moore Daniel; and her siblings, Walter L. Daniel and Miriam D. Golden. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, May 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Place Kings Chapel. A funeral service was held on Sunday, May 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
