He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth Nalley Harper and Bill Brown; his stepfather Clayton Harper; his brother Dwayne Brown; and his grandson Chandler Wood.
He is survived by: his wife Billie Ann of Voyager Drive; his children, David Ray Brown (Tera) of Greenwood and Amy Nelson (Robby) of Ware Shoals; his siblings, Billy Brown (Diane) of Ware Shoals, Sydeny Lee Brown of Ware Shoals, Elizabeth Henley of Ware Shoals and Cindy Moore (Bill) of Ware Shoals; his grandchildren, Autumn Rae, Gracelyn, Jaxson, Kasey McCarty (Billy), Jayden, Jacob, Hannah and Abby; and his great grandchild Mason.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Parker-White Funeral Home (17 N Greenwood Ave Ext, Ware Shoals, SC 29692). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Parker-White Funeral Home Chapel, Ware Shoals (17 N Greenwood Ave Ext, Ware Shoals, SC 29692).
