He was predeceased by: his father John Jasper Newman; and his brother Tommy Newman. He is survived by: his mother Libby Lesesne Newman; his wife Debra Faye Holdren Newman of Ware Shoals; his children, Caleb Newman of Columbia and Samantha Kittrell; his stepsons, Daniel Ray Gibson (Jessie) of Cowpens and Anthony Weeks (Brittany Alverson) of Pauline; his brother Andy L. Newman (Kelly) of West Columbia; and his grandchildren, Rhett, Stella, Bentley, Mackenzie, Madison, Riley, Ariea and Grayson.
