He was predeceased by: his parents, William Terry and Marie Motes Gillespie; his siblings, Mike, Jimmy Gillespie and Kimberly Michelle Gillespie; his grandparents, Eldred, Sadie Gillespie, Arthur and Ramer Motes; and also Alia Cagle.
He is survived by: his wife Melisande; his daughter Candi Roach of Gray Court; his parents-in-law, Sammy and Patrice Richey Martin; his siblings-in-law, Shannon Martin and Alicia Phillips (David); his grandchild Carleigh Jefferson; his nieces and nephews, Chelsea, Reagan, Neely, Lindsey, Pam, Ben, Chandler, Sam and Collin; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Christin, Emmy, Blakely, Audrey, Cooper and Brook; and also, Kylie and Mia.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Mt. Gallagher Baptist Church (11570 Indian Mound Rd, Ware Shoals, SC 29692). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorials should be made to The Ware Shoals Athletic Association, PO Box 475, Ware Shoals, SC 29692 or to Mt. Gallagher Baptist Church, 11570 Indian Mound Road, Ware Shoals, SC 29692.
