He was predeceased by: his parents, William Terry and Marie Motes Gillespie; his siblings, Mike, Jimmy Gillespie and Kimberly Michelle Gillespie; his grandparents, Eldred, Sadie Gillespie, Arthur and Ramer Motes; Alia Cagle.

He is survived by: his wife Melisande; his daughter Candi Roach of Gray Court; his parents-in-law, Sammy and Patrice Richey Martin; his siblings-in-law, Shannon Martin and Alicia Phillips (David); his grandchild Carleigh Jefferson; his nieces and nephews, Chelsea, Reagan, Neely, Lindsey, Pam, Ben, Chandler, Sam and Collin; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Christin, Emmy, Blakely, Audrey, Cooper and Brook; Kylie and Mia.
