He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Rudolph and Betty Smith McKee. He is survived by: his sons, Kevin Herman McKee (Connie) of Waterloo and James Bradley McKee of Williamston; his grandchildren, Isabelle McKee, Griffin McKee, Tabatha McKee Merritt (Daniel), Paiten McKee and Tyler Smith; and his great grandchild Jolene Merritt.
