She was predeceased by: her parents, Horace Nathaniel and Ruby Owens Babb; her siblings, Dennis "Deno" Babb and Mary Babb Adams; and her grandson Chandler Davis.

She is survived by: her husband William Danny Ashley; her son David Phillips (Alicia) of Laurens; her siblings, Donnie Babb of Hodges, Stanley "Dunk" Babb of Ware Shoals and Shirley Doan of Ware Shoals; her grandchildren, Ben Phillips, Reagan Phillips and Chelsea Davis; and her great grandchild Emerson "Emmy" Phillips.
