She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Cothran and Gertrude Whitt Cothran; and her siblings, Otis Cothran, Joe Cothran, Alton Cothran, Lee Cothran Jr., Lurleen Hellams, Betty Elledge, Ellen Boland and Nancy Daniel.
She is survived by: her husband Joe Abrams; her children, Kenneth Preston Abrams (Melanie) of Simpsonville, Melissa Huffman of Hickory Tavern and Sharon Witt (Mike) of Ware Shoals; her sisters, Olive Davis of Waterloo and Vivian McClellan (C. W.) of Ware Shoals; her grandchildren, Lee Abrams, Katherine Abrams, Tyler Huffman (Kody), Justin Huffman, Tiffany Huffman (Jonathan), Joanna Martin (Danny), Katelyn Witt (Stevie) and Patrick Witt; and her great grandchildren, Emma Huffman and Ava Huffman. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Place Poplar Springs Baptist Church (6000 Poplar Springs Rd, Ware Shoals, SC 29692). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
