She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Larry "R. L." Walters of Edgewood Drive; her parents, George Hugh Frederick, Sr. and Doris Ashley Frederick; her siblings, George Hugh "Sonny" Frederick, Jr. and Sylvia Heller; and her great-nephew Drayton Cook.
She is survived by: her daughter Shelley Walters Halpin (Jimmy) of Donalds; her grandson Richard Tyler Halpin (Amanda); her great grandchildren, Micah Branson, McKinley and Bexley; her niece Ashley Frederick McAlister (Terry) of Honea Path; her great-nephew Devin Hugh Cook; her great-niece Raelyn Grace Beasley; and her friend Emma Camak.
