He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph M Kowalik and Phyllis Kowalik (Wylie); his wife Cheryl Kowalik; his siblings, Joseph and Phyllis; and his grandson Teddy.
He is survived by: his siblings, James H Kowalik (Lori) of Wrightwood, CA and Mary Kowalik (Mark) of San Diego, CA; his stepchildren, Tillman Stevens III (Michelle) and Karla Ray (Ronnie); his grandchildren, Marcus Stevens (Kearie), Joshua Stevens Sr., Andrew Mathews (Cheyenne), Jessica Polzin (Gatlin), Kyra Stevens and Keaton Stevens; his siblings' children, Amber of Ashley, CJ, Hannah, Hayley, Daniel, Anna O'Conner, Amanda Barrasso and Lisa Steward Westbury (Benny); and his great grandchildren, Joanna, Meadow, Willow, Rayne, Elijah, Desmond, Finn, Karma, Joshy, Charlie, Salmon and Maisy.
