He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Dockins and Mildred Wooley Dockins; and his siblings, Mary Posey and Ralph Dockins, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Taylor Dockins; his children, Melinda Derr (Steve), Hugh Dockins and Whitney Vetter (Jeremy); his grandchildren, Lauren Taylor, Kristen Herman, Jace Wrightson, Jasmine Paulino, Julianna LaBarre, Jodi LaBarre, Kelli Derr, Blakely Dockins, Noah Dockins, Elizabeth Vetter, Silas Vetter and Luke Vetter; and his great grandchildren, Keira Herman, Owen McCoy, Aiden McCoy and Carmen McCoy.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hatcher Funeral Home and Cremation Service (3464 Jefferson Davis Hwy, Graniteville, SC 29829). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Hatcher Funeral Home and Cremation Service (3464 Jefferson Davis Hwy, Graniteville, SC 29829).
