He was predeceased by: his parents, Cora Lee McNeely Eaves and Calhoun Franklin (Eaves); his siblings, Virginia E. Carpenter and Edward Eaves; and his close friend June Ramsey.
He is survived by: his sister Anita Eaves Trujillo; his stepchildren, Juneile Dinning and Fred Ramsey; and his stepgrandchildren, Anthony Fail (Stacie), Mikey Vargason (Heidi), Melinda Lovell (Gary) and Monica Matthews (James). He is also survived by fourteen step great-grandchildren; along with other extended family.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Ebenezer Presbyterian Church (8788 US-1, Louisville, GA 30434). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
The family strongly suggests that, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Ebenezer Church Cemetery Fund, c/o Anne Burke, 1518 Ocala Road, Wrens GA 30833.
