We are sad to announce that on June 30, 2025, at the age of 92, James Roland Smith (Warrenville, South Carolina) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Roland Smith to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter W. Daniels and Maybell Smith Craig; his siblings, Cecil "Bubba" Craig, Ronnie Craig, Frankie Craig, Betty Cain and Linda Craig; and his grandson Dawayne Smith.

He is survived by: his wife Peggy Cato Smith; his children, Garry Smith (Brenda), Todd Smith (Tammy) and Caroline Smith; and his grandchildren, Amber Smith, Michael Smith (Arika), Dana Haase (Keith), Bradie Couch and Margo Bishop (Cade). He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family request that donations in Rep. Smith's memory be made to the Horse Creek Veteran's Park, 3187 Augusta Road, Warrenville SC 29851.
