She was predeceased by: her husband Leon Kasey; her parents, Vergie Holley Sease and Cecil M. Sease; her children, Ronald "Ronnie" Kaney and Susan Rene Kaney; and her siblings, Melvin Sease, Ralph Sease, Nelson Sease, Roger Sease and Betty Wingard.
She is survived by: her granddaughter Susan Kaney; her brother Richard Sease; and her close friend Joseph Boyd. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
