He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry Dennis and Shirley Ann Jones Phillips; and his brother Johnny Phillips. He is survived by: his sons, Scott Smothers of Greenwood and Justin Phillips of Gray Court; his sister Julie Burgess; and his grandchildren, Josie Smothers and Colton Caldwell.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Place Parker-White Funeral Home (17 N Greenwood Ave Ext, Ware Shoals, SC 29692). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
