He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph F. Stokes and Carolyn Rollins Stokes; his wife Mary; and his brothers, Ricky Stokes and Mervin Stokes.
He is survived by: his children, Robin Gregory (Gary), Laura Stokes and Mark Stokes; his brothers, Gary Stokes and Joe Stokes; and his grandchildren, Jonathan (Kelly), Haley, Jeremy, Jacob, Mark and Brandon. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
