He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Heather Painter Lake; his parent Gary Paul Lake, Sr.; his children, Christen "CeCe" Roberts (Alex), Bryant Lake, Ellen Lake, Brianna Callaway (Blason) and Aleigh Cook; his siblings, Tonya Gleaton, David Lake and James Lake; and his grandchildren, Nick Roberts, Colt Callaway and Mason Callaway.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel (1025 Main St S, Greenwood, SC 29646). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Even in passing, Gary continued to care for others by giving the gift of life through organ donation.
