It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger Dale Davenport of Waterloo, South Carolina, born in Laurens, South Carolina, who passed away on March 23, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Walter Barrett and Sara Coker Davenport; and his sister Nancy Davenport Hannah. He is survived by : his children, Roger Dale Davenport, Jr. (Shawn) of Donalds, Barrett Davenport (Diedra) of Waterloo and Nancy Alexander (Layne) of Kersey; his brothers, Donnie Bumgardner (Kay) of Waterloo and Nicholas Bumgardner of Waterloo; and his grandchildren, Christopher, Dylan (Nicole), Brandon, Samantha (Luke) and Alayna. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
