We are sad to announce that on August 28, 2023, at the age of 48, Daniel William Brainard of Wellford, South Carolina, born in Greenville, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by : his spouse Lalita Diane Nyitrai Brainard; his daughter Lenae Diane Brainard of Columbia, SC; his sister Mary E. Schultz (Kevin) of North Jackson, OH; his siblings-in-law, Sabrina E. Nyitrai of Pflugerville, TX and Justin Nyitrai (Paytra) of Warren, OH; his parents-in-law, Lori and Frank DeGennaro of Beaufort, SC; his nephews, Carter and Elliot Schultz of North Jackson, OH; his niece Tatiana Nyitrai of Warren, OH; his son-in-law Aaron Marshall of Columbia, SC; and his cat-child MoMo.

In lieu of flowers, please plant a tree in remembrance of Dan, as he was very much at peace and at home among the trees.
