He is survived by: his pet Buster; his children, Laura Knighton Robertson, Donnie Gene Knighton, Jr. of Jacksonville, Tess, Timothy Eston Knighton and Melanie; his grandchildren, Clay Robertson, Brooke, Sara Salciccioli, Maverick, Matthew Easler, Amanda, Alyssa Knighton, Daniel Knighton and Savannah Knighton; his great grandchildren, Connor, Charles Robertson, Adalie, Rosaleigh Fowler and Juliet Easler; his siblings, Betty and Terry; Michelle.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Duncan Church of Christ (1234 S Danzler Rd, Duncan, SC 29334). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
