We are sad to announce that, on July 5, 2023, Al Smith Jr. in West Columbia, South Carolina, born in Beaumont, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis A. Smith and Mary Ellen Smith; and his son Francis Lynwood Smith. He is survived by: his wife Annette M. Smith; his daughter Sharon Maple of Calabash, NC; and his sisters, Frances Mathis of Beaumont, MS and Ellen O'Neal (Ed) of Petal, MS.. He is also survived by three grandchildren; five great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fellowship Baptist Church.
