He is survived by: his wife Hanna Epting Shealy; his daughters, Allyson Shealy Bartley (Daniel) and Libby Shealy Shull (Austin); his grandchildren, Graham, James Bartley, Nate and Jonah Shull; his stepchildren, Alexandra Renwick Hood (Brannan) and Michael Renwick; his stepgrandchildren, Addison, Fischer and Waylon Hood; and his caregiver Alison H. Sallings.
