She was predeceased by: her parents, Rodie Fry and Vernie Roland; her husband Donnie Ray Shumpert; her son Bryan Ray Shumpert; her sister Annie Sarah Whitaker; and her brother-in-law Stacey Whitaker.
She is survived by: her son Dale Shumpert; her daughter-in-law Ina Shumpert; and her grandchildren, Brendan Ray Shumpert and Meredith "Reed" Shumpert. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephew.
