With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Beverly A. Van Buren of West Columbia, South Carolina, born in Alameda, California, who passed away on April 7, 2024 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Doris L Gilhams and Ledger Dale Ford; her husband Tracy H. Van Buren, Jr.; and her grandchild Shawn Van Buren (Faith). She is survived by : her children, Sherry Lynn Anth (Chuck) of West Columbia, SC, James Henry Van Buren (Shaunene) of Kentwood, MI and Scott Ross Van Buren (Teresa) of Sweetwater, TN; her grandchildren, David West, Dana West-McElwee (John), Caroline Cruz (Mike), Christopher Van Buren (Ayten), April Van Buren and Alex Van Buren; and her great grandchildren, Benjamin West, Jessica West, Emily McElwee, Malena McElwee, Thor Cruz and Aya Van Buren.

A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 at 5:30 PM at the Mt. Hebron Methodist Church (3050 Leaphart Rd, West Columbia, SC 29169).
